On February 03 Aernnova has delivered the Fin Insert, the first set manufactured by the Basque multinational for the new Airbus BelugaXL transport plane to its Final Assembly Line in Toulouse.
The Fin Insert will be the first work package to be delivered to the BelugaXL Final Assembly Line, a new milestone in the development of this project.
To support the A350 XWB ramp-up and other production rate increases, Airbus is expanding its existing A300-600ST fleet with the development and production of five new BelugaXL aircraft, derived from the company’s versatile A330 widebody product line.
Aernnova manufactures the primary parts in different locations of the company (Vitoria, Tarazona, Toledo and Cadiz) and the complete assembly of the aerostructures at its Berantevilla plant (Álava).
