Aernnova, one of the world’s largest tier-one aerospace suppliers, will collaborate in the development of the new generation aircraft model called “Overture” from Boom Supersonic.
Aernnova will participate in the design and development of the wing of the supersonic aircraft, which represents one of the most specialized components, requiring high level technical capabilities.Overture’s gull wings are shaped to enhance supersonic performance as well as improve subsonic and transonic handling. The wings are structurally thinner than typical subsonic wings to reduce drag, allowing the aircraft to efficiently travel at higher speeds. Aernnova was brought on board for our technical engineering capabilities and experience as well as our profound knowledge in state of the art composite materials.
Aernnova will provide product and manufacturing engineering services for the preliminary design of this disruptive model to allow its subsequent progression into certification and production phases.
